The soccer season is well under way and the Rummies have
so far been succesful in their first two games. The latest one against
Arsenal resulted in a 5:0 win! Pictured below Sid Brandma and an Arsenal player.

The Rummies have won their 8th championship! The
Rummies won against the Cougars 1:0 ( Brian Van Essen). Click here

CONGRATULATIONS!

The Rummies have qualified for the final by winning
against
InterCity 3:0. They will play the Cougars at Riel Park at 1PM.
The Rummies defeated the Cougars in the last game
before the play-offs 3:0 ( S. Brandsma, Russo and Gibb ) The Rummies will
play either InterCity or Arsenal in the semi-finals on Sept. 21 at 11 AM. The
final will take place on September 28.
The Rummies win Silver at the Provincials.
2002
April
Due to the poor weather the schedule for the Men's League has been
changed.
Now the first game is scheduled for May 12/02 at El Dorado Field.
The Rummies also have a new coach, player John Fiacco.
June
So far the Rummies remain unbeatable and Sid Brandsma as well as Mike
Olsson are contenders for the Golden Boot Award!
July
The Provincials will be
held in Edmonton on the Labour Day weekend.
The most interesting goal
ever was provided by our own goalkeep last Sunday, July 28. The other goalkeep didn't
stand a chance.... :) It won't win him the Golden Boot Award but perhaps the Team's pink
trophy. The latter one seems to be a good luck charm.. :)

One Championship Winner Rummies will be meeting for the final this coming Sunday!

April:
The Rummies are
currently practising with the Rangers!
Their first game is scheduled for the second week of May.
June:
The
Rummies had a rough start with injured players and consequently lost games. Things are
looking up quite a bit though!!
Trent Hillman played again
after an ankle injury in the game against Taps.

AUGUST
AUGUST 1:We are in the
number one spot again!
We will be missing Paul
Parker for our final game, as he had to have surgery due to appendicitis! Get well soon,
Paul!
SEPTEMBER:
The Rummies are in Calgary for the Provincials! We will post the results
as soon as they become available .
Unfortunately the Rummies
left without medals this year and ended up in the 4th spot.
The Rummies did it again!
After a loooong game they took the TIER I Championship for the seventh time!! Special
thanks to Paul who played despite his surgery!!
